Two steps from Lake Como and center
The strategic location of the B&B also allows you to reach in just 5 minutes the Swiss border, the motorway hub, Villa del Grumello, venue for fairs and conferences, and Cernobbio, a renowned town attended by VIP also home to renowned conferences and fairs at Villa Grass.
From the B&B in just 5 minutes walk you are on the Como Lake promenade: to get to the historic center just cross the park of Villa Olmo, walk the lake to the Aero Club (where you can make the waterways with the seaplane).
Continuing: Stagione Sinigaglia, Monument to the Fallen (often lively and pleasant leisure time even in the evening), Tempio Voltiano, raised in memory of Alessandro Volta, inventor of the stack, Fora Caldirola Dam, Piazza Cavour, behind which is located the Duomo .
From Piazza Cavour you can reach the starting points of the main boat tours and hydrofoils.
From here you continue to the other shore of the Lake, Viale Geno, full of gardens, walks, bars and restaurants. Along the promenade there is the funicular station, from which you can reach Brunate, also known as “Balcony of the Alps”, because of the many panoramic points, first of all the “lighthouse”, from which you can observe the Po Valley, The western Alpine arch and the Appennine Mountains.
